Zero graphics tools (we love your art though).  Built for a working persons wage.

Your skis built completely with solar power (or 9 ounces of petrol) and atmospheric pressure.

Introducing a superior core technology, horizontal lamination (void free, 9 ply birch).  Vertical lamination is 5 times the cost with lower performance thresholds.

Introducing a superior Glass and Aramid structural reinforcement package.

Built on American Soil.

Introducing the most versatile ski design platform in the world.

To date, we have specified and built a greater variety of skis than any other manufacturer in the world.  And not one of them could figure out how to do it for a working person wage.  But they figured out how to quit and send it over to China or charge $1,200 plus.

A ski requires 5 psi to press. 120 degrees F (room temp is fine but takes longer) to cure in about 140 minutes.  The sun works fine.  All skis are hand built and the material package for any good ski is about $70.  A ski is very simple to make, it is essentially a sandwich with epoxy resin instead of mayonnaise.  OH, I know, there are people out there that know much more than me and may even tell you I am wrong.

Will be offering a full DIY garage kit including press for under $800.

How long did it take us to get here.  Sixteen months ago, we only had the idea and one axle.

And we would love to show you how if you are a good person.  No more idiots.  We had enough of that.

Have we made mistakes?    Huge ones.

This is the tool I designed to blow away CNC.  It's faster, you can make it with a drill press and a few other tools.  It runs off the energy in your body and its accurate to within 1.2 mm.  (next gen to within .4 mm)

No fancy computer program to set it up.  Just a healthy conversation with our client to understand what they need.

This video gives you a good idea of what the trailer is about.

We are very thankful to Planet Earth Clothing for the support.

We received outerwear pieces for the crew and I.  The quality, and style are excellent.  Very stoked.

    • This is a range of Tele, AT, Alpine skis.

Back country near Mammoth Mountain.

Sustainable has to be for the crew that runs a shop as well.  This is a good place to work.

Shop is running off of solar and 200 amp hour, AMG, battery bank.

We can build a ski start to finish on straight solar power.  We can scale this out to build 500 sets on straight solar.

The trailer is built from 90 percent recycled or reclaimed material.

This picture was taken in 2008.

Jael, Noa and I built the trailer out of recycled and found stuff.  Jael, using a Milermatic wire feed, .030 wire with an inert gas shield.

We live off grid and pretty removed from the town.  We were looking for a way to get Noa, our daughter out and about in a community.  I figured out how to build a set of skis in this trailer so off to Mammoth we went.  Stayed out back and in town for all of last season learning my trade and skiing.  I've been in the industry since day one of the snowboard revolution.  Built a few factories and laid some of the ground work for that industry.

We fabricate all our tooling on site in the trailer.  Most of the what we do has never been done.

Most the tools we use to build skis and our factory, are from Home Depot.  I could have brought in the standard fare for manufacturing skis, but what good would that do.  333 is fresh.  A completely new approach to manufacturing which is soundly based in simplicity and accessibility.

It costs less to set up a whole 333 platform than the cost to purchase 1 base grinder.

 Good tools, good tunes.

Buying the best tools is very important.  I've had this Porter Cable 2 1/2 horsepower router for 16 years of building.  We use CMT carbide, by far, the best carbide for the work we do.

My family and crew are thankful to Dr, Phillips.  An ER doctor who both works on the 333 platform and administers to our health concerns.

This is where it all starts.

Given the opportunity to do meaningful work, most people will work hard.
